The family spent a couple of hours playing our way through the first part of Act 1, learning and thinking about the electronics ideas we all know at least some of already. But more than anything else, we spent time trying to wrap our heads around the differential planetary gear mechanism of the Junction piece. You can’t easily see all the details of its construction, so I’d love to see a real diagram or 3D CAD model of it. I’d also absolutely love to be able to 3Dprint a larger version I can look at, put together, figure out. Or (perhaps even better) 3D print the extra parts needed to make one with LEGO Technic gears. I love the exploded diagram/render, both animated and unanimated, that are posted on this site and the KS page, but they don’t quite explain how everything connects. I want to understand this mechanism better, and would love a bigger model I can see all the parts of. @pgboswell ? Anyone?
